The Seasons is named for a series of paintings by artist and former owner Ann Gladwill, which depict life in El Dorado County
California at different times of the year.
A wrap-around veranda with distinct sitting areas encircles the main floor of the house. This floor contains the parlour, where guests may sit in front of the fireplace built of hand-picked stones or, during warmer weather, enjoy refreshments and games on the veranda.
Inside the House
Next to the parlour is the dining room, where guests are served breakfast on a custom-made pine table that sits under a one-of-a-kind wrought iron chandelier made from an antique weather vane.
In addition to the main house, there are two cottages on the grounds that may be rented
as part of our historic Placerville Bed
& Breakfast. Read more >
