The Plumado, named for the long-time owners of the property, is on the garden level of the main house and is entered through an ornate white wood portico.

The outside walls are constructed of thick placerite stone, hand hewn over one hundred and forty-three years ago. Outside the entrance is a private seating area where the shady quiet of the garden may be savored.
The Plumado has original wood floors with wool rugs, a unique wrought-iron queen sized bed, and a private bath with a pedestal sink and an antique claw-foot tub with shower.

The Plumado Suite features two rooms, The Plumado and the adjacent room. The spacious adjacent room is furnished with a Tuscan flair and has a wooden queen-sized bed, soft straw colored walls, and vibrant floor coverings.
The suite has its own private entrance, which overlooks the garden's flagstone patio.
The two-room Plumado Suite can be rented by two couples or a family of four who request adjoining rooms where a bath is shared. Or either guest room may be rented separately without the other being rented.
